  Rapid Response is a process that provides information and services to employees experiencing job loss. When a layoff is announced, Rapid Response links community services to employees to assist them in securing new jobs.
   
 
   
  As of October 2008, the state is not accepting applications for emergency Rapid Response funding.  If your county is experiencing a mass layoff and local funds are insufficient to service the affected employees, you will need to complete a National Emergency Grant (NEG) application.  Click on the link below for a list of information you will need in order to apply for a NEG.
