Statewide Technical Assistance Workshops (10/08/08)

The Office of Workforce Development is offering a fall quarter series of regional workshops intended for front line, supervisory and management staff of the One-Stops, partners included. The agenda is:

- Gold Standard Continuous Improvement Program (Statewide Analysis and Promising Practices)
- Local Area System Gold Standard Program Promising Practices
- OhioMeansJobs (New updates and techniques)
- Ohio Dept. of Development Strategic Plan (Overview and Innovative Initiatives)

All of the workshops are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will have limited seating, and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Stackable Certificates Implementation Plan (10/02/08)

"Getting Started" is an implementation guide for early adopters of “Stackable Certificates.” With certificates, including many that will be industry recognized, it will provide adults an accessible pathway to college-level degrees and improved employment opportunities.
