Wait List Reduction Funds Update (5/20/10)

ODJFS has made good on its promise to allocate additional Rapid Response (also called Wait List Reduction) funds to local areas in order to ensure services to dislocated workers. You will remember that Area 7 received about $4.2 million earlier this year in Wait List Reduction funds. Many of you requested and received these funds to keep services flowing. ODJFS set aside $15 million for the state. They will allocate $4.38 million to Area 7 in the coming program year.
