Deadline has been extended to July 24, 2008. Ohio is again celebrating September as Workforce Services Month. Funds to assist the workforce investment areas in planning community activities will be awarded up to $7000 for each of the 11 One-Stop systems in Area 7. All the funding requests must come through the Area 7 Administrative Office. Requests will not be accepted by ODJFS after August 1, 2008. Send your system request to the Area 7 administrative office at area7@clarkstate.edu for review and signatures by July 24, 2008 in order to meet that deadline. This will allow time for any adjustments/corrections to the applications that ODJFS may recommend. Remember the applications must be submitted by system, not by county. Local areas are encouraged to submit a comprehensive plan using a separate Request Form for each separate event or activity. All procurement measures (federal, state, and local) must be followed. Click here for form and state WSM letters. |
