Common Measures Training (Rev. 01/17) Bob Haas and Kathy Leadingham of ODJFS will be presenting Common Measures training to Area 7 on several dates in December. The following dates have been confirmed.
Please RSVP the location of your choice and number of attendees to area7@clarkstate.edu, as seating is limited in each location. Email reminders and details for lunch arrangements will be sent out to those who RSVP. We hope staff in each county will take advantage of this great opportunity. |

Congress Passes Recission (1/3) Congress passed legislation in its Omnibus Bill that will rescind unspent PY2005 and 2006 funds as of June 30, 2007. The following is the referenced section of the House Report mentioned in the Bill:
It is estimated that Ohio's portion of this will be close to $22 million in reductions for Ohio from WIA. ODJFS is trying to obtain more details from the Department of Labor on how the rescission will be apportioned. Also, as a result of the legislation, there will be an across-the-board reduction of about 1.7% of all FFY2008 ETA Programs. |
