ETPO Performance Report (4/17)

Area 7 has prepared a report listing the training providers used by Area 7 participants and how they perform.  The two calculated outcomes include:

-graduation or certificate rate

-placement in employment rates (within the 1st quarter after exit)

We hope publishing this report on the ETP section of our website will be a good resource for case managers and participants to use when deciding which providers they prefer.

The report itself can be sorted alphabetically by provider, or by outcome rates (to show rankings).  The first tab includes all hits for each provider and the second tab is a summary.  In order to use the sort feature, click on the arrow within cell on the header row that you wish to sort by.  Contact your regional representative for assistance.

Employer Match Amount for Customized Training (4/10)

There seems to be a need for clarification on the state's waiver from DOL to reduce the required 50% employer match amount for IWT and other customized training for certain types/sizes of company.

ODJFS has stated we must not reduce the 50% match requirement until a policy is released on that topic.  At this point in time, the state's draft policy has not yet been through the required public comment period, so we are still held to the 50% employer match requirement.

This policy has been delayed at the state due to the latest information from DOL that employee wages cannot count towards the total cost of training.  Contact your regional representative with any questions
